Our vase is carved to represent the Varuna mudra (the gesture of water). Carved wood supports the artistically designed glass vase, carefully hand blown and molded onto its foundation. ‘Mudra’, a Sanskrit word, meaning a symbolic hand gesture that has the power to produce joy and happiness. As the molten glass cools around the wood, it forms a custom fit between these two unique pieces.
