Real heart-shaped banyan leaves are hand-pressed adding shading and shadows to create these nightlights’ signature pattern. Bulb included.

These nightlights feature fossilized banyan leaves that are hand-placed on a standard UL lamp backing and then laminated into a cylinder shape. The leaves used in our products are either collected after a tree naturally sheds them or are plucked from a living tree. In either case, the plant isn’t harmed. Additionally, the purchase of the leaves that are used provides a secondary income to the framers who grow and care for the plants.

The artisans who make our pieces are paid a living wage, provided quality housing, have access to continuing education, and work under dignified and safe conditions.

The handcrafted touch of artisan skill creates variations in color, size and design. If buying two of the same item, slight differences should be expected.
