If you live in a mild climate, you can leave your olive tree outdoors year-round (typically below 32 degrees Fahrenheit will cause damage to your tree). Be sure to select a southern location sheltered from drying wind. When it is necessary to bring the tree inside, make sure it is in a location where it can still receive about eight hours of sunlight daily (or consider adding full-spectrum glow lights). Trees will take approximately 1-1.5 years to reach full maturity.
